Terms of Service for Convoi®

Welcome to Convoi® (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using the Convoi mobile application and website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Description of Service

Convoi is a social driving application that allows users to:

• Create and join convoys
• Share real-time location with others
• View nearby users and groups
• Navigate and coordinate driving routes

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Convoi.

By using the app, you represent that:

• You have the legal capacity to agree to these terms
• You will comply with all applicable laws

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use Convoi safely and responsibly
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations
• Not use the app in a way that distracts you while driving
• Only interact with the app when it is safe to do so

4. 🚨 Driving Safety Disclaimer

Convoi is NOT responsible for your actions while driving.

You acknowledge that:

• You are fully responsible for your behavior on the road
• You will not use the app in a way that causes distraction or unsafe driving
• Convoi does not guarantee safe routing, driver behavior, or convoy conduct

Use of this app while driving is at your own risk.

5. Location Sharing

By using Convoi, you understand that:

• Your location may be shared in real-time based on your settings
• Other users may see your position if permitted
• You are responsible for your privacy settings

6. Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account
• All activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these terms
• Abuse the platform
• Harm other users

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Use the app for illegal purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the app
• Interfere with the platform’s operation

8. Third-Party Services

Convoi may rely on third-party services (e.g., maps, authentication).

We are not responsible for:

• Third-party outages
• Inaccuracies in mapping or routing
• External service failures

9. Service Availability

We do not guarantee that:

• The app will always be available
• The app will be error-free

The service is provided “as is”.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Convoi is NOT liable for:

• Accidents or injuries
• Property damage
• Losses resulting from use of the app
• User behavior or interactions

11. Intellectual Property (ownership)

All content, features, and functionality of Convoi, including but not limited to software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks, are the exclusive property of Convoi LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The Convoi name and related logos and marks are trademarks of Convoi LLC.

12. License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Convoi for personal, non-commercial purposes.

13. Subscriptions and Payments (Convoi+)

Convoi offers an optional auto-renewable subscription called Convoi+, purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

• The subscription title, length, and price are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase.
• Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their store policies.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Convoi LLC from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to accidents, misuse, or violations of these Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these terms.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted at:
