Convoi collects precise location data to enable real-time convoy tracking features. When you are actively participating in a convoy or using live tracking features, your location may be accessed in the background, including when the app is minimized or not in active use.
This allows other convoy members to see your live position during active driving sessions. Users can control location sharing at any time within the app.
If you enable the optional Safehouse feature (see Section 3), we store a private place and radius you choose so the app can detect when you are inside that area. That Safehouse data is not visible to other users.

Convoi includes social and community features that allow users to create profiles, join convoys and clubs, share routes, upload photos or videos, post stories, use voice features, and interact with other users.
Users are responsible for the personal information they choose to share through Convoi, including in profiles, posts, stories, chats, convoys, clubs, routes, usernames, vehicle details, photos, videos, and other public or shared content. Convoi is not responsible for personal information that a user voluntarily shares with other users or makes publicly visible.
When using location, convoy, map, or route recording features, users should avoid sharing private or sensitive locations such as their home, workplace, school, or other places they do not want others to know. If a user chooses to record, post, or share a route or location, they are responsible for reviewing that information before sharing it.
Photos, videos, stories, and posts may reveal personal information, including faces, license plates, locations, surroundings, or other identifying details. Users are responsible for reviewing their content before uploading or sharing it.
Users are responsible for ensuring that photos, videos, and other uploaded content do not reveal information they do not want to share.
Messages, voice communications, club activity, convoy participation, and other interactions may reveal information to other users. Users should only share information they are comfortable disclosing.
This section applies only to information users voluntarily choose to share with other users or make visible in community features. It does not limit Convoi's responsibilities for its own systems, security, or data handling as described in this Privacy Policy.
Convoi may request access to your device microphone to enable voice communication features within convoys. Audio is only used during active voice sessions and is not recorded or stored by Convoi unless explicitly stated.
Users can disable microphone access at any time through their device settings.
